Meet the Band
Ted Peters – Trombone, Piano & Vocals
Toronto’s own “answer to Trombone Shorty”, Ted Peters is a Juno-nominated musician blending the soul of New Orleans jazz with his own modern style. He has performed with legends like Willie Nelson, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, and Larry Carlton.
Jojo Bowden – Drums
Joe “Jojo” Bowden is a master of groove, known for his deep, soulful drumming that fuses funk, R&B, and jazz roots. His playing tells stories with every beat, always pushing boundaries while staying true to tradition.
Neil Brathwaite – Saxophone
With roots in Montreal and Barbados, Neil Brathwaite has performed across genres from jazz and R&B to reggae and world music. He’s shared the stage with icons like George Clinton, Wynton Marsalis, Deborah Cox, and KC and JoJo.
Collin Barrett – Bass
Collin Barrett is a highly sought-after bassist recognized for blending calypso and jazz. He has performed with artists including Leonard Cohen, Jully Black, Holly Cole, and Randy Brecker, while also serving as a respected educator at Humber College.
