Formed in 2007 by drummer and band manager Deryck Roche, Chic’n Waffles Band was created to reintroduce a diverse selection of R&B, soul, old school, Motown, reggae, and pop music to the Toronto music scene. Starting as a 3-piece ensemble at Dazzling Lounge, they quickly gained popularity across the GTA, expanding into a 5-piece band that resonates with various cultural communities. Their performances have graced weddings, corporate events, and comedy shows in larger venues.
